Bahamas, Costa Rica, and Ecuador are elected to PAHO’s Executive Committee

The 52nd Directing Council of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) elected the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and Ecuador to serve a three-year period as members of the Executive Committee, composed of nine Member States.
The new members will replace Grenada, Peru, and the United States, whose terms expire at the end of the Council meeting this week.

The other Executive Committee members are Brazil, Chile, and El Salvador (until September 2014) and Canada, Jamaica, and Paraguay (until September 2015).
