Brazil: Cooperation is an instrument for development

Private Meeting Heads of Delegation (29)

The delegate of Brazil, Alberto Kleiman, emphasized his country’s belief that cooperation is an instrument that drives development. He said that the challenges facing the Region call of the adoption of new cooperation modalities and, in this sense, Brazil has changed the profile of the cooperation it offers others.

Kleiman noted that currently his country has 150 health projects under way in various areas. One of these projects, which Brazil is very proud of, is a trilateral agreement for knowledge-sharing with Haiti and Cuba. He said that PAHO should continuously strengthen its role in facilitating cooperation and leveraging good practices in the Region.
